And they are the same as ever: myriad prose on how to lose weight, quit smoking, spend more time with the kids, etc. Have you bothered to read any of them? Probably not. When I returned to Toronto from overseas, I quickly undertook a million projects. I became a writer for YYZ Living, a luxury fashion magazine. I resumed personal training part time at a gym in the city while growing my personal business again to private clients. I walked into Michael Kors yesterday to get my beautiful new watch resized. I left three minutes later feeling the utmost shock. Not only was I greeted rudely and with disdain, but the store clerk actually rolled her eyes at me and spoke to me in this sarcastic and disgusted tone.

I will never be shopping at Michael Kors again.

I love working with the elderly. Or seniors. Who knows what the politically correct term is these days, so we'll go with seniors. The feeling remains the same.

I have two new private clients who live in a beautiful apartment in Yorkville and are well into their eighties. They're fabulous. I wish I had an editor. I recently published a review of the Milan Fashion Shows and I messed up Gucci's chief woman's name. You also quickly realize that this is still popular in the workplace, no matter what the legal codes are. So last weekend, Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment. She'd been battling with heavy drug and alcohol addiction for years. And of course, we all know that we shouldn't judge anyone's misfortunes because we have no idea what kind of demons they are facing - whether real or imagined.  So I woke up this morning at 5, trained two clients and walked to work early. It was such a clear crisp day. Mr. Simelane was recently convicted of 28 counts of murder involving women and children. The defense did not have many mitigating factors to present in court to try to sway the sentencing in the defendant's favor, so the judge unexpectedly moved to sentencing.

I remember when I was a child, my father took me to Shoppers Drug Mart for shampoo. Looking at the rows up on rows of different colored bottled, I asked my father why there just wasn't one shampoo. One conditioner. If they were all the same, then why were they all different? And why were there so many?

I bring my lunch to work. It saves me money and time, so you should consider the option if you're one of the millions of people who spend, on average, 10$/day on lunch. More if you're a manager. So I bring my lunch to work and everday, the cleaning lady comes into the kitchen and stands there. This is because on the first day here I offered her half my lunch.

I've begun working part time at the gym in Manzini as a part time personal trainer and spin instructor, apart from my work as Legal Officer with SWAGAA. It's a beautiful gym, with equipment that's a bit out-dated, but with a wide range of machines and free weights to choose from.
